BloodCode vocabulary.
| Term | Meaning |

| Slot | The fixed number that identifies an op. Never changes. |
| Tag | The op's spelling in an artifact. Part of the ABI. |
| Artifact / .bc | A compiled BloodCode program, in text. |
| Executor | Anything that runs BloodCode: card kernel, JIT, interpreter, FPGA. |
| Conformance | Passing the per-op suite to become an admitted executor. |
| Composer | The lowering from a .bc artifact to parallel card execution. |
| Router | Per-op selection of which executor runs each part. |
