Conformance
A new machine joins by passing one public test suite, not by being trusted.
The gate
Any executor, whether another GPU, an FPGA, a microcontroller, or a JIT, is admitted by passing the per-operation suite: one test per op, checking that the machine produces the reference output. The reference implementation is the JIT; the suite is the contract.
Why a suite and not a spec
A written spec drifts. A test suite cannot: it either passes on a new machine or it doesn't.
Portability
Because admission is per-op, coverage grows without ever running wrong. An executor that handles 20 of the 29 ops serves those 20 and routes the rest to a CPU tier, so no program has to be abandoned.
Current coverage
The card path runs a growing subset. Strings on the card remain the known hard edge; the router turns that from a blocker into a routing decision.
