Introducing Sanguis

Sanguis is a self-hosting programming language built on 9 keywords. Instead of objects, you write circuits, self-contained structures that hold their own state, fire when their conditions are met, and emit signals to each other through routes. No classes, no inheritance, no method calls. When you write Sanguis code, it gets transposed into a connectome that settles on the GPU in parallel, in real-time. The compiler itself is written in Sanguis, so the language will eventually host itself.

What is a VANA?

VANA stands for "Voltage Activated Neural Architecture." It is the runtime engine that executes your Sanguis programs. Instead of forcing data through a single processing line, VANA routes it across many paths simultaneously on the GPU you already own. The organism lives on the GPU through what we call the "blood bridge", an async stream that keeps it running in real-time without stopping to sync with the CPU every tick. Your CPU does some very light work, and then gets out of the way.
